As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, Axis Bank levies no charges on NEFT and RTGS online transactions through net banking or mobile banking app. Whereas, a minute amount is charged on NEFT transactions done physically by the customer at the bank branch.

Axis NEFT – How Does It Work?
Axis NEFT is owned and operated by the Reserve Bank of India, just like all other banks. There are 48 NEFT batches in a day at 30-minute intervals. NEFT is an electronic Pan-India centralized payment network. There is no minimum/maximum transaction limit set by Axis Bank for its customers. But there is a capping of Rs. 50,000 per transaction if done in cash at the branch.

Axis NEFT Intra-Bank Fund Transfer (within same bank)
Follow the steps given below to transfer funds within Axis Bank through NEFT:
Step 1: Go to Axis Bank netbanking portal and log into your internet banking account.
Step 2: Click on “Funds Transfer” and choose “Axis Bank Accounts”
Step 3: Select the beneficiary or click on “Add/Manage Beneficiary” if you need new one.
Step 4: Enter details asked in the page thus opened. Here, at the end of the form, select NEFT mode of payment.

Axis NEFT Inter-Bank Fund Transfer (to another bank)
In order to remit funds using NEFT to another bank (other than Axis Bank), simply follow the instructions given below:
Step 1: Log in to your Axis Bank netbanking account.
Step 2: Open “Payments” and select “Transfer Funds”.
Step 3: Click on “Other Bank Accounts” and select the Account No. to which you want to make the NEFT payment.
Step 4: Check Payee Details and fill Payment Details. Here, you will be required to select “NEFT” in the “Pay Via” section.
Step 5: Check all the details and click on “Next”.
You will get a confirmation message on your screen upon successful transaction to another bank account using Axis NEFT.

Axis NEFT payments can be done now 24×7. This is applicable for online banking via Axis Netbanking and Axis Mobile Banking.

Axis Bank Credit Card Bill Payment via Net Banking
Follow the steps given below to make your Axis Bank credit card payment directly from your bank account via Axis Netbanking:
- Log into your Axis Bank internet banking account.
- Click on “Credit Cards”.
- Enter the amount that you want to pay. It can be total due amount, minimum amount due or other amount of your choice.
- Now, click on Pay Now after checking details.
You will receive a confirmation message on your device screen and your mobile number as well via SMS.

Step 1: You need to first login to your Axis Bank Internet Banking using your login credentials.
Step 2: Select ‘Other Bank Account’ option and add beneficiary details.
Step 3: Under beneficiary details, enter beneficiary’s name, account number, IFSC Code and branch name.
Step 4: After verifying your details, accept the terms and conditions. Now click ‘Submit’ button.
Step 5: Now verify the beneficiary details using login id and transaction password.

Eligibility for Axis Bank NEFT
Axis Bank account holders can avail the Axis Bank NEFT transaction as per the Axis Bank NEFT timings. In addition, Axis Bank also provides direct cash transfers from the branch by filing the Axis Bank NEFT form.
However, in case the remitter has no access to mobile banking or internet banking, he/she can avail transfers using offline mode i.e. through visiting the nearest branch office of Axis Bank.
