Bank of Maharashtra RuPay Classic Debit Card
This is a basic debit card that comes with a moderate daily withdrawal limit and online purchase limit (may range from Rs 25,000 to Rs 50,000 as per the customer’s account profile). This card has an annual maintenance fee of Rs 150. There is no minimum balance requirement with this card.
Bank of Maharashtra RuPay Platinum Debit Card
This RuPay Platinum debit card is issued to those customers who maintain minimum quarterly average balance of Rs 10,000. Please note that this debit card is free for Bank of Maharashtra staff. It comes with a personal accident cover as well as Permanent Disability Insurance cover of up to Rs 2 lakhs each. The card has a higher variant of ‘RuPay Select’ where these insurance covers are increased to Rs 10 lakhs each.
Bank of Maharashtra Visa Classic Debit Card
This is another basic debit card issued by the Bank of Maharashtra via VISA. The cash withdrawal can stretch up to Rs 2 lakhs, subject to the availability in the cardholder’s bank account. IT does not have any joining fees and is offered as a complementary card upon opening a basic Bank of Maharashtra savings account.
Bank of Maharashtra Visa Purple Debit Card
VISA Purple is a premium debit card issued by the Bank of Maharashtra with a higher daily transaction limit of Rs 1 lakh at ATM and POS/online purchases. There is no maintenance charges attached to this card and one can make unlimited ATM transactions without extra charges at any Bank of Maharashtra ATM.
Bank of Maharashtra Kisan Debit Card
As the name suggests, BOM Kisan Card is designed for the farmers who own an MKCC account with the Bank of Maharashtra. MKSS – MahaBank Kisan Credit Card account.
Bank of Maharashtra Mudra Debit Card
If you have an account in the Bank of Maharashtra under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojna, this card will be offered to you. A basic savings account holder will not have access to this account. A Mudra debit card has a cash withdrawal limit of Rs 25,000 only.
Bank of Maharashtra RuPay PMJDY Debit Card
People who have opened accounts with the Bank of Maharashtra under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMDJY)* are issued the RuPay PMJDY card. This card enables the user to carry out transactions at all ATMs, POS terminals, and e-commerce websites. Additionally, it provides a Personal Accidental death and total disability coverage of up to Rs. 2 lakhs.
*PMJDY – a National Mission for Financial Inclusion aimed at providing affordable access to financial services such as banking, savings/deposit accounts, remittance, credit insurance, and pension.
Bank of Maharashtra Student DBT Pre-Paid Cards
Such cards are closed-looped cards issues to students for purchase of goods. he card is issued by Bank of Maharashtra in collaboration with the government, and it helps to simplify the process of disbursing scholarship funds.
With the Bank of Maharashtra Student DBT Pre-Paid Card, students can receive their scholarship funds directly on the card, instead of receiving a physical cheque or cash. This makes it much more convenient for students, as they can access their funds easily and securely. The card can be used to withdraw cash from ATMs, make purchases at merchant establishments, or even make online transactions.
Features of Bank of Maharashtra Debit Cards
The following are the basic features of a Bank of Maharashtra debit card:
- Minimum Quarterly Average Balance: Rs 10,000 (less in some cases)
- Insurance Cover (Personal Accident – Death): Up to Rs 10 lakhs
- Permanent Total Disability Insurance: Up to Rs 10 lakhs

Bank of Maharashtra Debit Card: How to Apply?
When you open an account with the Bank of Maharashtra, you are offered with a complementary debit card, as per your account profile. If you don’t have any debit card currently, you can apply it by going to your base branch or any nearby Bank of Maharashtra branch as per the bank timings.
Bank of Maharashtra Debit Card Online Apply
If you don’t have a bank account with Bank of Maharashtra, you can apply the same online and also apply for a debit card in the same process.
All you need to do is go to the bank’s website and find the Apply Online button from the side bar. Click on Online SB Account Apply Now. Choose language preference and branch details along with your mobile number and apply online.
Bank of Maharashtra Debit Card Pin Generation Online
Follow the steps given below to create Green PIN and then generate ATM-cum-Debit Card PIN for your Bank of Maharashtra debit card:
- Go to any Union Bank ATM
- Insert your card in the machine
- Select the option for ATM PIN Set/Reset
- Enter the OTP that you’ll receive on your registered mobile number
- Create your PIN and re-enter to confirm
