Step 1: Download BHIM App on your Android or iOS devices through Play Store or Apple Store respectively.
Step 2: As BHIM App gets installed, open the app.
Step 3: Select your preferred language
Step 4: Select your SIM Card with the mobile number linked to your bank account
Step 5: Set your login through 4-digit password
Step 6: Now the app will fetch the bank account associated with your mobile number.
Step 7: Choose your desired bank account

How to Use BHIM APP?
Once you have downloaded and installed the BHIM UPI App, you can perform various activities through UPI. Listed below are some of the important uses of BHIM App-
Send Money
Through BHIM App, one can send money to others through UPI. For this, you are required to launch the app first, then click ‘Send’ tab. Next, you can search for a contact on your phone or simply enter UPI ID to send money. Now enter the amount and proceed further. Enter your UPI PIN. In a while, your account will be debited and beneficiary will be credited to the UPI linked account.
Send Money through Scanning QR Code
Individuals can make payments through using QR Codes at any retail stores or outlets. Just scan the QR Code through the option ‘Scan’ available on the dashboard. The QR Code Scanner will be opened up, scan the code and make your payment by entering the amount.
Receive Money
You can also receive money through BHIM App. For this, individuals are required to enter the UPI ID of the person whom you expect payment. Just click ‘Request Money’ on the app’s dashboard and proceed further. Now fill the UPI ID and the amount. The concerned person will receive a notification on their BHIM UPI App to make payment from their account.
BHIM App Transaction Limit
A user can send up to ₹1,00,000 per transaction and a maximum of ₹1,00,000 per day from one bank account. Also, this UPI Limit is available per bank account linked on BHIM App.
In case you are a new user, you will be allowed transactions of up to ₹5,000 for the first 24 hrs.
