In the world of digitization, it has become necessary to be compliant with online banking. Those of you having an account in the Bank of India must know how to login to BOI netbanking, registration process, how to transfer funds online and more – all of which is explained in this post.
Bank of India Net Banking Registration
To register for the Bank of India netbanking, these steps must be adhered to:
Step 1: Go to www.bankofindia.co.in.
Step 2: Under the ‘Online Services’ section, click on ‘Online Registration for Net Banking’. (Refer the image shown below)
Step 3: You’ll be redirected to the online registration form. Here, enter your account number, registered mobile number and Captcha.
Step 4: Click on ‘Continue’.
An OTP will be sent to your linked mobile number from the bank.
Step 5: Verify the OTP ID and then type in the OTP received and hit the ‘Continue’ button.
Step 6: Now, type in your BOI debit card number, expiry date and ATM PIN. Click ‘Continue’.
Step 7: Read the terms and conditions carefully and only after that, give consent by clicking on ‘I Agree’.
Step 8: Now, type the new login password that you wish to set and re-enter the same to confirm.
Step 9: Click on the ‘Continue’ button.
And you’ve reset your BOI netbanking password successfully.
How to Login to Bank of India Net Banking?
To login to the BOI internet banking account of yours, you must note that there are two channels; Retail Login and Corporate Login. Here, we have given steps for both:
Bank of India Net Banking: Retail Login
Step 1: Go to BOI website.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Internet Banking’ tab.
Step 3: Select ‘Personal: Login’.
Read the Disclaimer carefully and then only proceed.
You’ll be redirected to the Bank of India netbanking retail login page.
Step 4: Enter your User ID and Password along with Captcha.
Step 5: Click on ‘Submit’ to login successfully.
Bank of India Net Banking: Corporate Login
For the Bank of India netbanking corporate login, firstly repeat Step 1 and 2 given in the section above. Then:
- Click on ‘Corporate: Login’
The following page will be opened:
- Enter the login details asked in the form and hit the ‘Submit’ button
For security reasons, use the virtual keyboard for entering details. This further limits fraudulent activities in your account.
Bank of India Net Banking Login First Time (Retail)
If you’re a new user and logging into your Bank of India netbanking account for the first time, simply click on ‘New User’ in the BOI netbanking login page (for retail only) and follow these steps:

- Click on ‘View Only’ or ‘View & transaction’ as per your preference
- Enter your account number
- Now, type your mobile number in the space given
- Identify the Captcha and enter the same
- Click on ‘Continue’ to login to BOI net banking first time
Bank of India Internet Banking: Password Reset
If you’ve forgotten your BOI netbanking password, these are the steps to follow is order to reset password:
Step 1: Go to BOI netbanking login page.
Step 2: Click on ‘Forgot Password’ tab, next to ‘New User’.
Step 3: Give your internet banking user ID and Account Number in the online password reset form. (Refer the image shown below)
Step 4: Click on Continue and follow the steps as they appear on your screen. You will be asked to enter the OTP that will be sent to your registered mobile number linked to your UCO Bank debit card.
How to Transfer Funds via BOI NetBanking?
For those of you wanting to quickly send money to someone using the online banking services by UCO Bank, we have explained the BOI netbanking route for it, viz.:
Step 1: Login to your Bank of India internet banking account.
Step 2: Choose the option of within bank transfer or other, as per your preference.
Step 3: Click on the type of channel, i.e. NEFT, RTGS or IMPS.
Step 4: Before going ahead, add beneficiary in the ‘Manage Beneficiary’ section.
Step 5: Now, enter your account details, beneficiary account details, amount to be transferred and purpose of transfer or remarks.
Step 6: Enter the OTP to verify the transfer and you’re done.
Similarly, you can choose to transfer funds using Bank of India mobile banking option as well.
Bank of India Netbanking: FAQs
You can transfer funds online for free, i.e. without any charges, via Bank of India internet banking mode.
Yes. Without OTP, your transfer request will not be processed. And for this, you must keep your mobile number updated and linked to your BOI netbanking account.
You may transfer any amount BOI NEFT, however when it comes to RTGS, the minimum amount should be Rs 2 lakhs. If you want to transfer smaller amounts and that too instantly, we suggest you choose the IMPS option or resort to UPI.
