Central Bank of India RTGS Limit
To transfer funds using RTGS from any bank, the Reserve Bank of India has set up a minimum amount limit of Rs 2 lakhs per transaction. With this, it must be noted that there is no higher RTGS limit set by the Central Bank of India.
When to opt for the CBI RTGS form?
You will need the Central Bank of India RTGS form when you wish to transfer a sum of Rs 2 lakhs or more via RTGS at your Central Bank of India branch. This form is not required for when you’re using your netbanking or mobile banking account for the RTGS transfer. You’ll be charged with a fee of Rs 24.50 and Rs 49.50 (plus GST) for an amount of Rs 2 lakhs – Rs 5 lakhs and more than Rs 5 lakhs, respectively.
