Details to be Filled in Indian Bank NEFT Form
The following details must be provided true to the knowledge of the customer in the NEFT form of Indian Bank:
- Branch (at which request is being made for NEFT)
- Date
- Remitter/Applicant’s Details (Name, Account Number, IFSC, Branch, etc.)
- Beneficiary’s Details (Name, type of Account, Account Number, IFSC, etc.)
- Amount to be transferred (in words and figures, both)
- Cheque Number
If transferring an amount greater than Rs 50,000, provide these details as well:
- Address of the remitter
- Phone Number of the remitter
- PAN of the remitter
Indian Bank NEFT Form: Charges
When you’re using the NEFT form to transfer funds from your Indian Bank account, it simply means that you’ve taken the at-the-branch option where certain charges are applicable to initiate the transfer request. These charges are as per the amount of transfer, viz.:
- Up to Rs 10,000: Rs 2.50
- Rs 10,001 to Rs 1 lakh: Rs 5.00
- Above Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakhs: Rs 15.00
- Above Rs 2 lakhs: Rs 25

If you’re doing an NEFT from your Indian Bank account using any of the many digital channels, you can do so at any time, i.e. 24x7x365. However, the rules change when you choose to physically visit the branch and initiate the transfer there. These are:
Monday – Friday: 0800 hours to 1900 hours
1st, 2nd and 5th Saturdays: 0800 hours to 1300 hours
