Indian Bank Timings in Lockdown
In the year 2020 and 2021, there was a nation-wide lockdown for more than 2 months during which banks remained open but for reduced business hours. Indian Bank timings in lockdown were changed to 10 AM to 2 PM in most of the branches while the staff worked at a reduced capacity of 50% or less.

RTGS or Real Time Gross Settlement, is an instant electronic payment system designed to remit a minimum amount of Rs. 2 lakhs. This is a 24×7 service and transactions are processed in real time, i.e. immediately.

Indian Bank IMPS Timings
IMPS window for Indian Bank customer account transactions is open round the clock. IMPS or the Immediate Payment System are only available online and thus you cannot make these transactions offline by visiting the bank.
Indian Bank UPI Timings
UPI or the Unified Payment System, is an online payment mode managed by the NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India). UPI window for all Indian Bank customers is open throughout the day, i.e. 24×7.
UPI payments cannot be made offline. Download any of the UPI apps like BHIM Pay, GPay, Paytm, etc. to make UPI transactions. One doesn’t require to share their account details to make UPI transactions.
