Customers of PNB who want to transfer funds from their bank account or in cash to another bank’s account can use NEFT which is one of the many ways to digitally transfer funds. However, when you do so, you must be aware of the PNB NEFT timings as well.
PPNB NEFT Timings: Online and Offline
The NEFT timings for PNB customers for at-the-branch transaction and online are as follows:
PNB NEFT Timings Offline: At-the-branch NEFT timings depend on the normal working hours of the bank which may range from 10am to 4pm excluding 2nd and 4th Saturdays, Sundays and any other bank holidays.
PNB NEFT Timings Online: PNB customers can initiate NEFT transactions online using internet banking or mobile banking. The NEFT service is available 24×7 for online transactions.

PNB NEFT Timings on Weekdays: There are 12 hourly batches of PNB NEFT for settlement of requests on weekdays, i.e. Monday to Friday, from 8AM to 7PM.
PNB NEFT Timings on Saturday: There are 6 NEFT batches that run on every Saturday in PNB branches. Yu can make online NEFT request anytime during the day but the request will be settled in 6 batches from 8AM to 1PM.
It is important to note that NEFT transactions may take some time to process as these are not real-time transactions but work on half-hourly batches of clearing the requests. For this, we suggest that you check the NEFT timings as well as PNB working hours as well.
PNB NEFT Charges
PNB (Punjab National Bank) NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer) charges may vary based on the transaction amount and other factors. Here are the current PNB NEFT charges for at-the-branch transactions:
- Up to Rs 10,000 – Rs 2.50 per transaction
- Rs 10,001 to 1 lakh – Rs 5.00 per transaction
- Rs 1 lakh to 2 lakhs – Rs. 15.00 per transaction
- Above Rs 2 lakhs – Rs. 25.00 per transaction

You can transfer funds via PNB NEFT online at any time, i.e. 24×7. However, the settlement will take place from 8AM to 7PM on weekdays and till 1PM on Saturdays.
PNB has put a limit of Rs 500 lakhs on EFT transfers through its channel. That said, there is no minimum limit for PNB NEFT.
