As service tax has been replaced by GST with effect from July 2017, all its procedures have come under Goods and Services Tax portal. Individuals can do Service Tax Login now at the new portal for doing any activities related to service tax. However, service tax is now currently imposed on only two things in India i.e. Alcohol for human consumption & Petrol. Although, many of states have their own service tax login page which goes along with VAT, Sales Tax and others.
Service Tax Login Portal
Initially tax payers used to do service tax login through ACES portal- www.aces.gov.in but now, the ACES portal functionalities have been migrated to CBIC-GST portal for taxpayers with effect from May 2019.
To do service tax login, you can visit the official website of CBIC-GST portal at www.cbicgst.gov.in. To move further, you need to get registered first at the portal and then resume login process to perform activities. Login through Username & Password to continue your regular online transactions.
Note: E-payment of Service Tax is made through separate gateway namely EASIEST Portal- https://cbeceasiest.gov.in/EST/InputPageForEPaymentServlet.

Accounting Codes for Services
Earlier there used to be accounting codes for payment of service tax such as Stockbroker Services (00440008), General Insurance Services (00440005), Advertising Agency Services (00440013) and so on. But now with the implementation of GST, these account codes are no longer in the ambit of service tax. All the codes are further migrated to GST-HSN codes.

Service Tax Login: FAQs
The charges for late payment of service tax is 18% p.a. for 1st six months of delay and 24% p.a. for the delay that is beyond six months.
A person is liable for 10% penalty on his service tax amount in case he/she fails to make service tax payments.
