To check your PAN Card status there are many modes to do so. When you apply for a new PAN, you will receive an acknowledgement number. Using this number, it becomes fairly very easy to check the PAN Card status. Other options to track PAN card status include doing so by name or by SMS.

Check PAN Card Status through NSDL
You can check the status of your PAN card application through NSDL (National Securities Depository Limited) by following these steps:
- Visit the NSDL PAN card application status tracking page at https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pantan/StatusTrack.html
- Select the application type: PAN – New/Change Request
- Enter your 15-digit acknowledgement number in the field provided. You can find this number on the acknowledgement receipt that you received when you submitted your PAN card application.
- Click on “Submit” to view the current status of your PAN card application.
You can also check the status of your PAN card application by sending an SMS to 57575 with the message “NSDLPAN (15-digit acknowledgement number)”.

Check PAN Card Status through UTIITSL
For UTI PAN card status application through UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Limited (UTIITSL), you can follow these steps:
1. Visit the UTIITSL PAN card application status tracking page at https://www.trackpan.utiitsl.com/PANONLINE/#forward
2. Select the application type: PAN – New / Change Request
3. Enter your application coupon number or your 10-digit PAN number in the field provided.
4. Enter the captcha code shown on the screen.
5. Click on “Submit” to view the current status of your PAN card application.
PAN Card Status Check by Mobile Number
For PAN card status check by mobile number, you can send the following SMS with your acknowledgment number:
SMS “UTIPAN <space> 15-digit acknowledgement number” to 57575
Please note that for PAN card status check by mobile number, you must have the acknowledgement number. This number can easily be found on the acknowledgment receipt that you must have received at the time of PAN Card Application.
Alternatively, now that NSDL e-Gov is Protean eGov, you can send the following SMS if the abovementioned option does not work:
SMS “Protean PAN” <space> 15-digit acknowledgement number” to 57575
How to Check Aadhaar Card PAN Card Link Status?
You can check the status of you Aadhaar Card PAN card linking by following the below-mentioned steps:
1. Visit the Income Tax Department’s e-Filing portal
2. Login using your credentials.
3. Click on the ‘Profile Settings’ tab and select ‘Link Aadhaar’ from the drop-down menu.
4. On the next page, you can view the status of the Aadhaar-PAN linking.

How to Track PAN Card?
You can track PAN card status by following the steps below:
- Visit the website of the agency through which you applied for your PAN card – NSDL or UTIITSL.
- Find the ‘Track PAN Card’ or ‘Track PAN Status’ link on the website.
- Enter your PAN number or application coupon number in the space provided.
- If you don’t have acknowledgement number, you can do NSDL PAN card track simply with your name and date of birth. Thus, to track PAN card status without acknowledgement number, use this link (official NSDL PAN Track weblink).
- Enter the captcha code in the space provided.
- Click on ‘Submit’ to complete the PAN card tracking process.

You can check your PAN card status online by going to the UTI-ITSL website or the NSDL website. There, you can enter your PAN Card application acknowledgement number or your name & date of birth to get the status of your PAN card.

Go to the NSDL e-Gov or Protean eGov and ‘Apply for correction/change in PAN’.
Tentatively, PAN is delivered within a span of 2 weeks after the application is submitted for a new PAN.

To track PAN card application status or to know when your PAN card will reach you by post, without acknowledgement number, go to NSDL e Gov and enter your name and date of birth.
