After the download process, follow the procedure given below to activate Maharashtra Bank Mobile Banking.
Step 1: Click on the New User Registration button.
Step 2: Accept the terms and conditions
Step 3: Enter your User ID. The 11-digit CIF Number given to you on opening an account with the bank will be your User ID.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Submit’ button. An automated message will be sent to your mobile number via SMS

- You can use your net banking user ID and password for verification

How to Add Beneficiary For Funds Transfer Through Bank of Maharashtra Mobile Banking?
To transfer funds through the Mahasecure App, adding the beneficiary is the first step. After adding the beneficiary, you can transfer funds to the beneficiary after 24 hours, i.e., when the beneficiary account is enabled. The procedure for adding the beneficiary is given below:
Step 1: Login to the Mahasecure Mobile App using MPIN.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Submit’ button and you will see various options on your mobile screen.
Step 3: Go to the ‘Funds Transfer’ option
Step 4: Under Funds Transfer, choose the ‘Manage Beneficiary’ option
Step 5: Choose the ‘Add Beneficiary’ option
Step 6: In the dropdown menu, choose “Add NEFT Beneficiary” to add other bank beneficiaries and ‘Add INTRA Bank Beneficiary’ to add beneficiaries within the bank.
Step 7: Enter the details like Account Number, Name of the Beneficiary, Nick Name, IFSC Code, Mobile No (optional), and Email ID (optional)
Step 8: Under the ‘Beneficiary Relationship’ option, choose the relationship from the dropdown menu.
Step 9: Provide the address and PIN code of the beneficiary and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 10: You will get a message ‘The beneficiary is added successfully. Please approve the beneficiary’
Step 11: Click on the ‘OK’ button.
Step 12: Go back to the ‘Manage Beneficiary’ option
Step 13: Choose the ‘Approve Beneficiary’ option
Step 14: Under the ‘Approve Beneficiary’ option, choose INTRA if you are adding beneficiaries within the bank and NEFT for other bank beneficiaries.
Step 15: Under the ‘Beneficiary Nickname’ dropdown menu, choose the nickname of the beneficiary you need to approve
Step 16: Enter your MPIN and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 17: You will get a message “The beneficiary is approved. It will take 24 hours for the beneficiary to be active.
Funds transfer to the beneficiary can be done after 24 hours.
How To Transfer Funds Using Mobile Banking of Maharashtra?
With the banking operations at your fingertips, you can transfer funds to accounts within the bank as well as other bank accounts with a few clicks from anywhere and at any time. Follow the procedure given below for funds transfer.
Step 1: Login to Mahasecure Mobile App using the login credentials.
Step 2: A screen with various options will be visible on your mobile.
Step 3: Choose the ‘Funds Transfer’ option.
Step 4: Choose from various options like IMPS, Self-fund Transfer, Intra bank, and NEFT.
Step 5: Choose IMPS or NEFT options for transfer to other bank accounts, Intra bank for transfer to accounts within the bank, and Self-fund for transfer to own accounts.
Step 6: If you have chosen the NEFT option, on the NEFT page, you will have to choose the ‘From Account’ (account for debit) and choose the beneficiary for the ‘To Account’ option.
Step 7: Enter the transaction amount and the purpose for the transfer.
Step 8: Enter your MPIN and Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 9: Review the details displayed on the screen. If found correct, click on the ‘Yes’ button
Step 10: A popup message saying ‘The transaction is successful’ will appear on your mobile screen.
For transfer through IMPS mode, you will have to choose from the options
- P2A, where the beneficiary is added with an Account Number and IFSC Code
- P2P, where the beneficiary is added with a mobile number and MMID
After selecting the beneficiary, the same procedure given for NEFT funds transfer has to be followed.
