PayZapp Registration Process
To start using the HDFC Bank PayZapp mobile payment application, the first and foremost step is to register for it. The steps for PayZapp registration are mentioned here:
Step 1: Download and install HDFC PayZapp from App Store or Play Store.
Step 2: Launch the app.
Step 3: Enter your mobile number which is registered and linked to your HDFC Bank account and other details required.
Step 4: Verify your identity by credit card details or customer ID.

Step 5: Create your PayZapp PIN (4-12 digits).
Step 6: Upload the asked KYC documents. This will enable cashbacks, if any, to be credited on the payments you make. If your mobile number is linked to your HDFC account, this step is not required.
Step 7: Now, add your HDFC debit card or credit card. You can also add any other bank’s card as well. The app will work in the same manner.
Step 8: Lastly, register for UPI with just a few clicks. This is optional but an important step if you wish to make UPI payments via PayZapp.

- Launch the app on your mobile phone
- Enter your PayZapp login PIN
- If your phone has fingerprint locking option, you may choose the same to login

How to pay utility bills using PayZapp?
Follow the instructions given below to pay your utility bills using PayZapp:
Step 1: Launch PayZapp on your mobile phone and login.
Step 2: Select the ‘View More’ option from the ‘Bills & Recharges section.
Step 3: Click on the type of bill (Electricity, Gas Cylinder, Piped Gar, Water, Broadband, Landline, Rent and Mobile Postpaid) in the ‘Utilities’ widget.
Step 4: Select the ‘Service Provider’ from the list (e.g. Tata Power Limited, Delhi Jal Board).
Step 5: Enter your customer-specific number and click on ‘Continue’.
Step 6: Use the mode of payment such as HDFC debit card, credit card or UPI for making the payment and that’s it.
How to make UPI Payments using PayZapp?
Follow these steps for UPI payments via HDFC PayZapp:
- Launch PayZapp
- Unlock via fingerprint or PIN
- Click on ‘UPI Send Money’
- Enter UPI ID or mobile number in the space or select from the given contact list
- Enter the amount
- Ass message (optional)
- Click on ‘Pay’
- Enter your UPI PIN and done.
