How to Install and Activate CUB Mobile Banking?
If you intend to utilise the CUB Mobile Banking facility you will have to activate the CUB Mobile Banking facility. Follow the procedure given below for registration and activation of the CUB Mobile Banking App. The bank offers various types of mobile apps with varied features and you can choose to download the preferred app in just 4 steps.
Step 1: Download any of the CUB Mobile Apps from Google Play Store or App Store. The different types of CUB Mobile Apps are
- CUB Mobile Banking Plus
- CUB Easy
- CUB Bharat QR Merchant App
- BHIM CUB UPI
Step 2: After installation has been done, the mobile number linked to your CUB account will be verified.
Step 3: Select the region and other settings for the app
Step 4: Add the required details and link the bank account to the mobile app.
Step 5: Once this is done you can reopen the app and perform various banking activities.
The detailed procedure for the registration and activation of CUB Mobile Banking Plus is given below:
Step 1: Download the CUB Mobile Banking App onto your smartphone from Google Play Store or App Store
Step 2: After installation of the app, click on the ‘open’ option to open the App.
Step 3: Once the App is open enter your Customer ID.
Step 4: You will also have to enter the MPIN. If you have not generated MPIN through Internet Banking, click on the Set/Reset PIN option
Step 5: On the next page, enter your Customer ID and branch
Step 6: Two options will be available. I have an ATM Card and I do not have an ATM Card.
Step 7: If you choose the ‘I have an ATM Card’ option you will have to enter the last 6 digits of your ATM card and the expiry date in MMYY format.
Step 8: Choose ‘MPIN” from the ‘Facilities Required’ dropdown
Step 9: Click on the ‘Submit’ Button
Step 10: Your mobile number linked to your account will be verified.
Step 11: You will be directed to the next page where you will have to enter an MPIN of your choice (4-digit).
Step 12: Re-enter the MPIN to confirm
Step 13: Click on the ‘OK’ button
Step 14: MPIN-generated acknowledgement messages will appear on your mobile screen.
Step 15: If you choose the ‘I do not have ATM’ option, you will have to enter your date of birth and PAN number instead of the ATM card details. The other steps are similar to generating the MPIN.
Now you can log in to the CUB Mobile Banking App using your Customer ID and MPIN and perform various banking activities with great ease and from the comfort of your home.

How to Add Beneficiary for Funds Transfer Through CUB Mobile Banking?
For funds transfer through CUB Mobile Plus App, adding the beneficiary is mandatory. Follow the steps given below to add the beneficiary.
Step 1: For the CUB Mobile Banking login enter the Customer ID and MPIN
Step 2: Click on the 3 horizontal lines on the left top corner of the home page
Step 3: You will see a series of options on the next screen
Step 4: Choose the ‘Transfers’ option
Step 5: You will be directed to the next page with a list of options
Step 6: Choose the ‘Manage Payee’ option
Step 7: A new page will open where you again have 2 options
Step 8: Choose CUB to add a payee with an account within CUB and NEFT/IMPS to add a payee with an account at another bank.
Step 9: Click on the icon to the right of the screen to add a beneficiary.
Step 10: For Payee within CUB, enter the account number, re-enter the account number, and enter the nickname followed by the MPIN.
Step 11: For Payee with an account at other banks, choose the NEFT/IMPS option.
Step 12: Enter the Account Number, Re-enter the Account Number, Select the Account Type, Enter the Account Name, Nick Name, and IFSC Code
Step 13: Enter the MPIN and click on the submit button.
Step 14: Select the Multifactor Authentication Process
Step 15: An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Enter the OTP.
Step 16: View the details of the payee provided and click on the ‘Activate Now’ button
Step 17: Enter the last 6 digits of your ATM Card, Expiry date in MMYY format, and the ATM PIN.
Step 18: Click on the ‘Next’ button.
Step 19: A message that says ‘Beneficiary Added Successfully’ will appear on the screen.
After 15 minutes of adding the beneficiary, you can transfer an amount up to the limits you have opted for.
How To Transfer Funds Using City Union Bank Mobile Banking App?
With the City Union Bank Mobile Banking App, you can easily transfer funds to accounts within the City Union Bank as well as to accounts with other banks. The procedure for the funds transfer is given below:
Step 1: Login to the CUB Mobile Plus App with your login credentials
Step 2: On the homepage, go to the ‘Transactions’ option.
Step 3: Under Transactions, choose ‘Funds Transfer’
Step 4: On the next page, Select the Payment type from the dropdown. You will have the CUB, NEFT, and IMPS options.
Step 5: After selecting the payment type, you will be navigated to the next page
Step 6: Select the ‘To Account’
Step 7: Select the ‘From Account’
Step 8: Enter the Amount
Step 9: Under the ‘Remarks’ column, mention the purpose for the transfer
Step 10: Enter the Payee’s mobile number and Email ID (optional)
Step 11: Click on the ‘Submit’ button
Step 12: Enter the MPIN
Step 13: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 14: Enter the OTP
Step 15: A confirmation page will open. Review the page for the accuracy of the details provided, and then click on the ‘Confirm’ button.
The transaction is complete at this stage, and you will get the ‘transaction successful’ message on the screen.
