Karnataka Bank Mobile Banking is a convenient way to access banking services using a smartphone or mobile device. It allows users to perform various financial transactions, such as checking account balances, transferring funds, paying bills, and managing investments, anytime and anywhere.
With mobile banking, customers can securely and easily handle their banking needs without visiting a physical bank branch, making banking more accessible and efficient for everyone. With a mission to make the banking experience effortless for customers, Karnataka Bank introduced the KBL App, which you can use from anywhere and at any time.
To be able to use the KBL Mobile App for banking services, installation and activation of Karnataka Bank Mobile Banking App is mandatory. The process for activation is given below.
Step 1: Register for KBL Mobile Banking by visiting the Karnataka Bank branch.
Step 2: Submit copies of the KYC documents required by the bank for verification.
Step 3: After registration, you will be provided with Karnataka Bank Mobile Banking User ID and MPIN via SMS on your registered mobile number.
Step 4: Activate the Karnataka Bank Mobile Banking Form from your registered mobile phone using the user ID and MPIN
Step 5: After the activation, you will have to change the MPIN.

Step 1: Download the KBL Mobile Plus App and install it.
Step 2: Open the App and click on the ‘Check Box’ to accept the terms and conditions.
Step 3: You will be directed to a default SMS page.
Step 4: Initiate an SMS from your registered mobile number
Step 5: You will be intimated about the receipt of the SMS
Step 6: Click on the arrow to proceed to confirm the mobile number
Step 7: The OTP will be auto-read. Click on the ‘OK’ button
Step 8: Select ‘Account’
Step 9: Enter the last 6-digits of your debit card, expiry date, and ATM PIN
Step 10: Click on ‘OK’
Step 11: Enter the new MPIN
Step 12: Re-enter to confirm the MPIN
Step 13: Click on ‘OK’
Step 14: The registration process is complete at this stage.

The maximum daily cap fixed per day is Rs. 5.00 lacs. This includes funds transfers and transactions for the purchase of goods and services. This limit is fixed keeping in mind the risk factors involved in mobile banking services.
The simple steps given below will help you register a beneficiary for funds transfer through Karnataka Bank Mobile Banking App:
Step 1: Open the KBL Mobile Plus App and enter the 4-digit MPIN for the Karnataka Bank Mobile Banking login.
Step 2: The home page with various icons will appear on your mobile screen.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Manage Beneficiary’ option.
Step 4: At the bottom right you will find the ‘Add Beneficiary’ option. Click on that.
Step 5: Enter the beneficiary Nickname and Name
Step 6: Choose the ‘Transfer Type’ from the dropdown
Step 7: Add the Account Number of the beneficiary and proceed.
Step 8: You will be redirected to the beneficiary details confirmation page.
Step 9: Click on ‘Confirm’
Step 10: An OTP will be generated and auto-read.
Step 11: Click on the ‘Ok’ button
Step 12: A message ‘Beneficiary added successfully’ will pop up.
After adding the beneficiary, you can transfer funds through KBL Mobile Plus App to the beneficiary account either through IMPS, NEFT, or RTGS. Follow the steps given below for funds transfer.
Step 1: Karnataka Bank Mobile Banking login can be done by opening the KBL Mobile Plus App installed on your mobile and entering the 4-digit MPIN.
Step 2: You will be directed to the dashboard.
Step 3: You will have various options for funds transfer like ‘Within Bank’, ‘Other Bank’, and Credit Card Payment.
Step 4: You can choose the option depending on the type of funds transfer.
Step 5: For fund transfer through NEFT/IMPS/RTGS, click on the ‘Other Bank’ option
Step 6: Go to ‘NEFT’
Step 7: Click on ‘Select Beneficiary.’ Select a beneficiary from your list.
Step 8: Enter the Amount to be transferred.
Step 9: Click on ‘Proceed’. You will be redirected to the NEFT page for confirmation
Step 10: Click on the confirm button if the details are correct
Step 11: OTP will be generated and auto read

Karnataka Bank Mobile Banking FAQs
The app can be accessed by all Karnataka Bank customers having Savings Bank or Current accounts. However, customers holding accounts in joint names and with joint operation conditions will not be able to access the App. The other ineligible accounts are minor by guardian accounts, accounts held by clubs, trusts, societies, associations, institutions, partnership accounts, corporate accounts, overdraft accounts and encumbered accounts.
Yes. Instant funds transfer is possible through the IMPS option.
At present, Karnataka Bank is offering Mobile Banking Services free of cost.
You can submit an application for change of mobile number at the Karnataka Bank branch. After the update, you log in and log out of the KBL Mobile App and the new number will be accepted as the registered number.
Go to the forgot PIN option before logging in. Enter your Customer ID. Account Number, Mobile Number, Date of Birth, and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number. You can get the MPIN reset by the branch. For this, you will have to submit an application for an MPIN reset at the branch.
